For those attending this year’s ESRI International User Conference in San Diego, the GeoTime team has put together an agenda packed full of activities and events to ensure you get the most out of your UC experience. Learning is key, so we have a number of speakers lined up to share their experiences. In addition, we’re introducing our innovative Rapid Training Sessions for those who want to pick up new skills on the go. Plus, one lucky attendee will walk away the winner of an iPod Touch!
Antoinette (Toni) Nunez, Senior Lead Analyst at Los Angeles Regional Information Clearinghouse, will present how they are using ArcGIS + GeoTime to not only confirm that a cell phone was at a crime at a certain date and time, but also to identify when suspects meet and travel together. Further, by using time and space views, Toni will demonstrate how to eliminate persons who are not near a crime—invaluable for assisting investigators by focusing their attention toward significant individuals.
Chief Greiner from Ogden Police Department will be on hand to talk about how they implemented their Real Time Crime Center (RTCC), which included the addition of ArcGIS + GeoTime to their analysts’ toolbox. Hear how Ogden PD has successfully used GeoTime with GPS trackers, Call Records Analysis, crime trend analysis and recreating crime scenes for reviews.
Visit the GeoTime booth (#P624) for Rapid Training Sessions, which will cover Call Records Analysis for Investigations and Crime Trend Analysis. Each session is just 5 minutes in length and will provide hands-on techniques and a certificate for all attendees who complete the training.
Join the GeoTime team in crowdsourcing the 5km Fun Run/Walk taking place Wednesday, July 25, on the waterfront just behind the Convention Center. To participate, simply register for the race and bring along a GPS device or smartphone with a running app. Afterward, stop by the GeoTime booth to share your data and get your free GeoTime USB key. The GeoTime team will collect the recorded GPS data and publish the results online after the show. For more details, check out our RunTime 2012 page.
Looking forward to seeing you in San Diego!
